Vice President of Sales, JJ joined the Coughlin executive team in 2015 having come from Federated Insurance. While at Federated, JJ completed a year long Masters course in Business Insurance at the company’s headquarters in Owatonna Minnesota, followed by a move to Connecticut where he successfully grew and maintained a large commercial book of business clients. He holds licenses in both Property and Casualty and Life and Health.

Today, JJ works with new and existing Coughlin clients to find them the best possible insurance for their company and personal needs. His areas of particular expertise are the Food and Beverage Industry, Trade Construction, Real-Estate, Manufacturing and Homeowners insurance.

JJ is a graduate of Marist College in Poughkeepsie NY, where he was captain of the Marist College Football team on which both he and Kees played.

JJ and his wife, Alyssa live in Trumbull, CT. They enjoy traveling, meeting new people, experiencing new cultures and food. Their travels have taken them to incredible locations including Italy, Greece, Ireland, Spain, Portugal, the Caribbean, Canada, and throughout the US. When they’re at home they enjoy the outdoors as much as possible with Charlie, their Fox Red Lab.
